"Mother PONYA"

"Remembered"
A letter of Caring

We all saw the changes coming years ago when the PA went to the outside to recruit for management positions. They brought in people who had no clue what the PA was really about. It was a family type of organization. Yeah that's right NEPOTISM. And Nepotism brought good people to the table.

These outsiders had not a clue. They knew nothing of Mother PONYA. Mother PONYA died from a broken heart and the politicians saw a grand opportunity to take a "Cash Cow" and use it to line their pockets. The PA became very impersonal. No one seemed to care! Everybody including us guys felt the difference and everyone had the attitude "Let me get mine".

Well, it took about fifteen years but now you will see the Police force diminish. Slowly but surely NYPD will take over the airports as well and the other facilities will have a small contingency of officers. Remember when you could make a call at any time to the Personnel dept and you knew the other person on the other end of the phone and they helped you with whatever your problem was?

Remember all the unwritten "perks"? Remember the snow storms and the parties that went with holding over? Remember how you were taken care of when you had a family emergency or a family tragedy or illness, etc. Remember how we took care of relatives and friends who were traveling, well forget all that...

Gone with the wind. You knew everyone and everyone knew you. My grandfather, dead for 38 years, was employed as a maintenance man at the PAB on 8th Ave. He worked forty years. yep, forty like in "40" years and he never took a sick day. When he retired, they gave him an award! Austin Tobin gave my grandfather the award. Maybe it was the Pasta Fagoli that my grandmother made or the meatballs and sausage but he was never sick. He took the train from Paterson every day. My aunt, uncle and sister all worked for the PA, and proudly may I add.

I guess we are all guilty of the "Greed factor". Sadly, the house of cards is falling down. Very sad because I knew the good times when Mother PONYA took care of all. It was a give and take on both sides. There are no more Austin Tobins.

All the good stuff is something our kids have never experienced and never will. Great benefits, pensions, salary, working conditions, and soup. Yes you heard it right. Soup! We even got soup when the temperature got too cold. Just like your mother would give you on a cold day.

Thank God for what we have and ask that he intercedes to keep our pensions solvent. Our parents and grandparents lived through hard times, something we thought could never happen again.

The Jihad Candidate - by Rich Carroll

Conspiracy theories make for interesting novels when the storyline is not so absurd that it can grasp our attention. 'The Manchurian Candidate' and 'Seven Days in May' are examples of plausible chains of events that captures the reader's imagination at best-seller level. 'What if' has always been the solid grist of fiction.

Get yourself something cool to drink, find a relaxing position, but before you continue, visualize the television photos of two jet airliners smashing into the Twin Towers in lower Manhattan and remind yourself this cowardly act of Muslim terror was planned for eight years.

How long did it take Islam and their oil money to find a candidate for President of the United States? As long as it took them to place a Senator from Illinois and Minnesota? The same amount of time to create a large Muslim enclave in Detroit? The time it took them to build over 2,000 mosques in America? The same amount of time required to place radical wahabbist clerics in our military and prisons as 'chaplains'?
Now……
Find a candidate who can get away with lying about their father being a 'freedom fighter' when he was actually part of the most corrupt and violent government in Kenya's history.

Find a candidate with close ties to The Nation of Islam and the violent Muslim overthrow in Africa, a candidate who is educated among white infidel Americans but hides his bitterness and anger behind a superficial toothy smile.

Find a candidate who changes his American name of Barry to the Muslim name of Barak Hussein Obama, and dares anyone to question his true ties under the banner of 'racism' …..Nurture this candidate in an atmosphere of anti-white American teaching and surround him with Islamic teachers.

Provide him with a bitter, racist, anti-white, anti-American wife, and supply him with Muslim middle east connections and Islamic monies. Allow him to be clever enough to get away with his anti-white rhetoric and proclaim he will give $834 billion taxpayer dollars to the Muslim controlled United Nations for use in Africa.

Install your candidate in an atmosphere of deception because questioning him on any issue involving Africa or Islam would be seen as 'bigoted racism'; two words too powerful to allow the citizenry to be informed of facts.

Allow your candidate to employ several black racist Nation of Islam Louis Farrakhan followers as members of his Illinois Senatorial and campaign staffs.

Where is the bloodhound American 'free press' who doggedly overturned every stone in the Watergate case?

Where are our nation's reporters that have placed every Presidential candidate under the microscope of detailed scrutiny; the same press who pursue Bush's 'Skull and Bones' club or ran other candidates off with persistent detective and research work?

Why haven't 'newsmen' pursued the 65 blatant lies told by this candidate during the Presidential primaries?

Where are the stories about this candidate's cousin and the Muslim butchery in Africa? Since when did our national press corps become weak, timid, and silent?

Why haven't they regaled us with the long list of socialists and communists who have surrounded this 'out of nowhere' Democrat candidate or that his church re-printed the Hamas Manifesto in their bulletin, and that his 'close pastor friend and mentor' met with Middle East terrorist Moammar Gaddafi, (Guide of the First of September Great Revolution of the Socialist People's Libyan Arab Jamahiriya)

Why isn't the American press telling us this candidate is supported by every Muslim organization in the world?

As an ultimate slap in the face, be blatant in the fact your candidate has ZERO interest in traditional American values and has the most liberal voting record in U.S. Senate history.

Why has the American main stream media clammed-up on any negative reporting on Barack Hussein Obama?

Why will they print Hillary Rodham Clinton's name but never write his middle name? Is it not his name?

Why, suddenly, is ANY information about this candidate not coming from main stream media, but from the blogosphere by citizens seeking facts and the truth?

Why isn't our media connecting the dots with Islam?

Why do they focus on 'those bad American soldiers' while Islam slaughters non Muslims daily in 44 countries around the globe?

Why does our media refer to Darfur as 'ethnic cleansing' instead of what it really is; Muslims killing non Muslims!

There is enough strange, anti-American activity surrounding Barack Hussein Obama to peek the curiosity of any reporter.

WHERE IS OUR INVESTIGATIVE MEDIA!?

A formal plan for targeting America was devised three years after the Iranian revolution in 1982. The plan was summarized in a 1991 memorandum by Mohamed Akram, an operative of the global Muslim Brotherhood. 'The process of settlement' of Muslims in America, Akram explained, 'is a civilization jihad process.' This means that members of the Brotherhood must understand that their work in 'America is a kind of grand jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and sabotaging its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God's religion is made victorious over all other religions.'

There is terrorism we can see, smell and fear, but there is a new kind of terror invading The United States in the form of Sharia law and finance. Condoning it is civilization suicide. Middle East Muslims are coming to America in record numbers and building hate infidel mosques, buying our corporations, suing us for our traditions, but they and the whole subject of Islam is white noise leaving uninformed Americans about who and what is really peaceful.

Where is our investigative press? Any criticism of Islam or their intentions, even though Islamic leaders state their intentions daily around the globe, brings-forth a volley of 'racist' from the left-wing Democrat crowd.

Lies and deception behind a master plan - the ingredients for 'The Manchurian Candidate' or the placement of an anti-American President in our nation's White House?

Is it mere coincidence that an anti-capitalist run for President at the same time Islamic sharia finance and law is trying to make advancing strides into the United States?

Is it mere coincidence this same candidate wants to dis-arm our nuclear capability at a time when terrorist Muslim nations are expanding their nuclear weapons capability?

Is it mere coincidence this candidate wants to reduce our military at a time of global jihad from Muslim nations?

Change for America? What change? To become another 'nation of Islam'?
///////////

COULD IT BE THE REASON OUR COUNTRY HAS NOT BEEN UNDER ATTACK SINCE 9-11 BECAUSE THE MUSLIMS HAVE AN AGENDA TO TAKE OVER OUR GOVERNMENT BY PLACING A MUSLIM IN THE PRESIDENCY?

IT MAY COME TO PASS IF AMERICANS DON'T AWAKEN TO REALITY!!!!!!

Alabama Judge
Some of you may be wondering what Judge Roy Moore has been doing since he was removed from the bench for refusing to remove the Ten Commandments from his courtroom wall.. Please read the poem he wrote. It's below.

The following is a poem written by Judge Roy Moore from Alabama . Judge Moore was sued by the ACLU for displaying the Ten Commandments in his courtroom foyer. He has been stripped of his judgeship and now they are trying to strip his right to practice law in Alabama ! The judge's poem sums it up quite well.

America the beautiful,
or so you used to be.
Land of the Pilgrims' pride;
I'm glad they'll never see.

Babies piled in dumpsters,
Abortion on demand,
Oh, sweet land of liberty;
your house is on the sand.

Our children wander aimlessly
poisoned by cocaine
choosing to indulge their lusts,
when God has said abstain

From sea to shining sea,
our Nation turns away
From the teaching of God's love
and a need to always pray

We've kept God in our
temples,how callous we have grown.
When earth is but His footstool,
and Heaven is His throne.

We've voted in a government
that's rotting at the core,
Appointing Godless Judges;
who throw reason out the door,

Too soft to place a killer
in a well deserved tomb,
But brave enough to kill a baby
before he leaves the womb.

You think that God's not
angry,that our land's a moral slum?
How much longer will He wait
before His judgment comes?

How are we to face our God,
from Whom we cannot hide?
What then is left for us to do,
but stem this evil tide?

If we who are His children,
will humbly turn and pray;
Seek His holy face
and mend our evil way:

Then God will hear from Heaven;
and forgive us of our sins,
He'll heal our sickly land
and those who live within.

But, America the Beautiful,
If you don't - then you will see,
A sad but Holy God
withdraw His hand from Thee.

~~Judge Roy Moore~~

This says it all. May we all forward this message and offer our prayers for Judge Moore to be blessed and for America to wake up and realize what we need to do to keep OUR America the Beautiful.

As a schoolboy, one of Red Skelton's teachers explained the words and meaning of the Pledge of Allegiance to his class. Skelton later wrote down, and eventually recorded, his recollection of this lecture. It is followed by an observation of his own.

I - - Me; an individual; a committee of one.
Pledge - - Dedicate all of my worldly goods to give without self-pity.

Allegiance - - My love and my devotion.

To the Flag - - Our standard; Old Glory ; a symbol of Freedom; wherever she waves there is respect, because your loyalty has given her a dignity that shouts, Freedom is everybody's job.

United - - That means that we have all come together.

States - - Individual communities that have united into forty-eight great states. Forty-eight individual communities with pride and dignity and purpose. All divided with imaginary boundaries, yet united to a common purpose, and that is love for country.

And to the Republic - - Republic--a state in which sovereign power is invested in representatives chosen by the people to govern. And government is the people; and it's from the people to the leaders, not from the leaders to the people.

For which it stands

One Nation - - One Nation--meaning, so blessed by God.

Indivisible - - Incapable of being divided.

With Liberty - - Which is Freedom; the right of power to live one's own life, without threats, fear, or some sort of retaliation.

And Justice - - The principle, or qualities, of dealing fairly with others.

For All - - For All--which means, boys and girls, it's as much your country as it is mine.

And now, boys and girls, let me hear you recite the Pledge of Allegiance:
I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic, for which it stands; one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
Since I was a small boy, two states have been added to our country, and two words have been added to the Pledge of Allegiance: Under God. Wouldn't it be a pity if someone said that is a prayer, and that would be eliminated from schools, too?

The Brotherhood
If you carry a badge, then your family

The brotherhood doesn't usually hit you the day you graduate from the academy. It takes time to creep in and wrap itself around your core personality. I remember the day it hit me.

A drunk driver had killed a friend and classmate from the academy during a traffic stop. We buried her in another state, and I remember as we crossed the bridge into the state where she was to be laid to rest, officers who had never met my friend stood at attention in 90-degree heat, saluting a comrade they didn't know and never would.

That's when I learned about the brotherhood. Over the years, I have seen it many times. All to often it becomes more evident during times of sadness or tragedy. Usually when an officer has lost his or her life. It shows up when an officer has been seriously hurt and of course in the aftermath of 9-11.

But what is it that makes officers drive hundreds of miles on their own time to attend the funeral of an officer they never knew? What is it that makes us pause when we hear that another officer has lost his or her life defending society?

We recently had a young Trooper, with his career and life ahead of him, tragically killed by a drunk driver, Officers from all over the country attended his funeral, and since his death, officers from other agencies offer me condolences on our loss. They don't know if I knew him or whether we worked together or not. They just feel it. They can't describe it to anyone either. They just know that a part of the brotherhood has been lost and we are all saddened.

I want to explain it. I want others to understand why hardened officers cry without reservation at the service of someone they've never spoken to. Why they will stand in cold, heat, rain, or shine as long as it takes to say good-bye to a fellow officer.

The color of the uniform suddenly means nothing. Whether the officer was local, state, or federal. He or she carried a badge and that is all we care about. I want the nation to understand why we all go to the nation's capitol to the National Law Enforcement Memorial every May to honor those we have lost.

Don't get me wrong. The Brotherhood doesn't prevent us from having our differences. We still fight amongst ourselves over jurisdiction, who's going to take the paper on a crash, or other unimportant issues. But I know that I have thousands of brothers and sisters, and I can count on them being there for me when I need them.

I still can't explain it. but call it "The Blue Wall," "The Thin Blue Line," the Brotherhood, or any other name, it all means the same thing. And for some reason unless you are a part of it, we can't help you understand. I guess we have to accept your not understanding and you have to accept our pause when we think of a lost comrade.

The following article was taken from the January issue - Volume 51 of the RPASNY Newsletter:
COPS HELPING COPS.......Jim Bosco (GCPD)

Sometimes in life we find ourselves in need of the comfort and support of others, particularly when we are alone or in unfamiliar surroundings. When a crisis occurs, and one is without the safety net of family or home, it may be impossible to get through even a day. But once in a while an extraordinary event occurs that cannot be ignored. This story that touched the lives of members of New York FOP Lodge #911 and Savannah, Georgia, Lodge #7 portrays one of hose events.

It started as a late September vacation for Roy Gier, a Nassau County Detective and FOP #911 member, and his wife, Linda. Looking forward to some golf and relaxation, Roy and Linda booked into a resort at Hilton Head, South Carolina. Almost as soon as he arrived at the resort, Roy was stricken with a serious and fast spreading infection. He was immediately hospitalized and placed in an Intensive Care Unit, where he underwent emergency surgery. After the surgery, Roy was transported to Kandler Hospital in Savannah, Georgia where he was placed in a Hyper-Baric chamber. Alone and scared, Roy's wife Linda waited for news of her husband's condition. She notified Detective Ed Harsch, a member of New York FOP Lodge #911, and let him know the situation. Detective Harsch contacted the Savannah FOP President, Corporal Jack Willis. President Willis, his wife, Carol, an FOP auxiliary member, and Officer Sarge Orr, responded to the hospital.

As the three entered the hospital room, Linda Gier, described her feeling as being surrounded and supported by family, and she felt relieved. From this time, and throughout their ordeal, Toy and Linda never felt alone. They were contacted several times by FOP Lodge #7 members who offered their support. Then Linda reached out once again to the Savannah FOP, to ask about any assistance they could render in getting her husband, Roy, still in a weakened condition, to the airport for his flight home. She was assured by President Willis, that everything would be taken care of.

On the day that Roy and Linda were to fly home, members of the Savannah FOP Lodge #7 again were able to assist their fellow FOP Member. True to his word, President Willis dispatched two uniformed Police Officers, Joe Kujawa and Lamar McCoy, to take charge of escorting Roy and Linda to the airport. "It was like having family there," said Linda Gier. "They were so wonderful; it made me feel relieved that there was someone around to help us out when we needed it." When Linda thanked the two Officers, Joe Kujawa and Lamar McCoy, they both responded "That's what this organization is all about, it's one big family." The two Officers continued to assist Roy and Linda the whole way through the airport, until boarding time later that afternoon, Det. Gier and his wife arrived in New York. They were met by the Port Authority Police, who assisted them off the plane to a waiting Nassau County Ambulance. A job well done by all !!!!

The Members of FOP Lodge #911 Garden City, New York, would like to gratefully acknowledge the heroic actions and deeds preformed by the members of FOP Lodge #7 of Savannah, Georgia, when of of our members called upon them to assist. It is the spirit of this Organization that shall live by its members' actions !!

Letter to the Editor in the Orange County Register:

Dear Editor:

So many letter writers have based their arguments on how this land is made up of immigrants. Ernie Lujan for one, suggests we should tear down the Statue of Liberty because the people now in question aren't being treated the same as those who passed through Ellis Island and other ports of entry.

Maybe we should turn to our history books and point out to people like Mr. Lujan why today's American is not willing to accept this new kind of immigrant any longer. Back in 1900 when there was a rush from all areas of Europe to come to the United States, people had to get off a ship and stand in a long line in New York and be documented. Some would even get down on their hands and knees and kiss the ground. They made a Pledge to uphold the laws and support their new Country in good and bad times. They made learning English a primary rule in their new American households and some even changed their names to blend in with their new home. They had waved good bye to their birth place to give their children a new life and did everything in their power to help their children assimilate into one culture.

Nothing was handed to them. No free lunches, no welfare, no labor laws to protect them. All they had were the skills and craftsmanship they had brought with them to trade for a future of prosperity Most of their children came of age
when World War II broke out. My father fought along side men whose parents had come straight over from Germany, Italy, France and Japan. None of these 1st generation Americans ever gave any thought about what country their parents had come from. They were Americans fighting Hitler, Mussolini and the Emperor of Japan. They were defending the United States of America as one people. When we liberated France, no one in those villages were looking for the French-American or the German American or the Irish American. The people of France saw only Americans.

And we carried one flag that represented one country. Not one of those immigrant sons would have thought about picking up another country's flag and waving it to represent who they were. It would have been a disgrace to their
parents who had sacrificed so much to be here. These immigrants truly knew what it meant to be an American. They stirred the melting pot into one red, white and blue bowl.

And here we are in 2006 with a new kind of immigrant who wants the same rights and privileges. Only they want to achieve it by playing with a different set of rules, one that includes the entitlement card and a guarantee of being faithful to their mother country. I'm sorry, that's not what being an American is all about.

I believe that the immigrants who landed on Ellis Island in the early 1900's deserve better than that for all the toil, hard work and sacrifice in raising future generations to create a land that has become a beacon for those legally
searching for a better life. I think they would be appalled that they are being used as an example by those waving foreign Country flags. And for that suggestion about taking down the Statue of Liberty, it happens to mean a lot to
the citizens who are voting on the immigration bill. I wouldn't start talking about dismantling the United States just yet.

"Police Officer Stages"

If you are a cop, were a cop, live with a cop, or are close to a cop you will recognize alot of the following:

FASCINATION STAGE - 1st thru 4th year of Law Enforcement.

For most officers, this is their first time outside of the middle classbubble. They have never seen a dead body, never seen life-threatening injuries, never dealt with a family disturbance, never witnessed the squaller some people call "living life", and never really understood the phrase "Man's Inhumanity To Man" until now.

Everything is new to them. You can ID them by the amount of fancy new equipment they carry...a ten BILLION candlelight power flashlight, "state-of-the-art" holster, pens that write in the rain, a ballistic vest rated to stop Tomahawk missiles, and an equipment bag large enough to house a squad of Marines. They love it, showing up early for their shift. They work way past the end of their shift without even considering an OT slip. They believe rank within the department is based only on ability and those in the upper ranks got there by knowledge and skill in police work only.

They believe the Department runs with the same attention to detail and efficiency as Joe Friday's Dragnet TV show....everyone is dedicated & committed, everyone is competent, everyone is on the same page and working towards the same high-minded goals. When they finally go home to their spouse/ significant other, they tell them everything they did and saw; they are wired up. Some of the more "eaten up" purchase a police scanner at Radio Shack so they can hear the radio calls while at home.

HOSTILITY STAGE - 4th thru 6th year

They now show up for work about 2 minutes before their shift, and they are hiding out about 30 minutes before end of shift, writing reports so they can just throw them in the sergeant's in-box and leave ASAP. They have to get to their second job to earn money to pay for the divorce that is pending. Their spouse is no longer interested in hearing about all the gore and heartache. They get the "you spend more time with the cops than you do with me" speech.

They now know how the lieutenant got those silver bars on his collar. They consider the State, the city, and all brass to be as dangerous as any viper. They gripe about everything, drink excessively, chase women, and hate the public, politicians, media, etc. They feel they have more in common with the hookers, thieves, dopers, etc.. but hate them too.

Those pens that write in the rain are no longer needed. Writing traffic citations can be a lot more trouble than they are worth, even on a nice day To write one, or to write anything while standing in the rain, is a sure sign of an insane person.

SUPERIORITY STAGE - 7th thru 15th years

This is when cops are at their best. They have survived changes in administration.

They know how the political game is played, both inside and outside of the department.

They know who they can trust and who they can't.

They have select friends within the department, and stay away, as best they can, from the nuts and boot-lickers.

They know the legal system, the judges, prosecutors, defense attorneys, etc.

They know how to testify and put a good case together.

They are usually the ones that the brass turn to when there is some clandestine request or sensitive operation that needs to be done right.

These cops are still physically fit and can handle themselves on the street.

They will stay around the station when needed, but have other commitments; such as a second job, a second spouse, a second boyfriend/girlfriend (sometimes both), etc. They have most of their friends outside of Law Enforcement now.

ACCEPTANCE STAGE - 15th to ????

Now the cops have a single objective... retirement and pension. Nothing is going to come between them and their monthly check.

The boss, the city (or State, or county), the idiots around the station, and the creeps on the street can all go to hell... because they could come between them and "sitting on the beach".

There is no topic of discussion that can't somehow lead back to retirement issues.

These guys are usually sergeants, detectives, crime scene technicians, station duty, or some other post where they will not be endangered.

They especially don't want some young stupid cop getting them sued, fired, killed, or anything else causing them to lose their "beach time". These guys are usually hard to find when the "clusters" hit.

They spend a lot of time having coffee, hanging around the station, and looking at brochures of things they want to do in retirement.

Then the retired cop usually dies within the first five years of retirement, saving the city (or State, or county) a bunch of money.

Of course, nothing is ever 100% true...but if you are a cop, were a cop, know a cop...you will certainly recognize some of the above statement.

"JUST A COP"

The funeral line was long,
There's an awful lot of cars,
Folks came out of the restaurants,
They came out of the bars.
The workers at the construction sites
All let their hammers drop.
Someone asked. "What is this all for?"
And they said,"Aw, just a Cop."

Some chuckled at the passing cars.
Some shed a silent tear
Some people said,"It's stupid."
"All these dumb policemen here."
"How come they are not out fighting crime?"
"Or in a doughnut shop?"
"Sure is a lot of trouble,
For someone who's just a Cop."

They blocked the intersections,
They blocked the interstate.
People yelled and cursed,
"Damn, it's gonna make me late!"
"This is really ridiculous!"
"They're makin' us all stop!"
"It seems they are sure wastin' time,
On someone who's just a Cop."

Into the cemetery now,
The slow procession comes,
The woeful Taps are slowly played.
There's loud salutes from guns.
The graveyard workers shake their heads
"This service is a flop."
"There's lots of good words wasted,
On someone who's just a Cop"

Yeah, just a Cop to most folks.
Did his duty every day.
Trying to protect us,
Till they took his life away.
And when he got to heaven,
St. Peter put him at the top.
An angel asked him,
"Who was that?"
And he said, "Aw, just a Cop."

The Judgment:

The Officer stood and faced his God,
Which must always come to pass.
He hoped his shoes were shinning,
Just as brightly as his brass.
"Step forward now, Officer,
How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek?
To my church have you been true?"

The Officer squared his shoulder and said,
"No, Lord, I guess I aint,
Because those of us who carry badges can't
always be a saint.

I've had to work most Sundays,
And at times my talk was rough,
And sometimes I've been violent
Because the streets are tough.

But I never took a penny
That wasn't mine to keep.
Though I worked a lot of overtime,
when the bills got too steep.
And I never passed a cry for help
Though at times I shook with fear.
And sometimes, God forgive me,
I've wept an unmanly tear.
I know I don't deserve a place among the people here.
They never wanted me around except to calm their fear.

If you've a place for me here, Lord,
it needn't be so grand.
I never expected or had too much,
But if you don't...I'll understand.

There was silence all around the throne,
where the saints often trod.
As the officer waited quietly for the judgment of his God.

"Step forward now, Officer."
"You've borne your burdens well."
"Come walk a beat on heaven's streets,"
"You've done your time in Hell"

"First Amendment"

Some one has spoken their mind...."First Amendment"

Will we still be the Country of choice and still be America if we continue
to make the changes forced on us by the people from other countries that
came to live in America because it is the Country of Choice??????

Think about it!

All we have to say is, when will they do something about MY RIGHTS?

I celebrate Christmas...........but because it isn't celebrated by everyone...........we can no longer say Merry Christmas. Now it has to be Season's Greetings.

It's not Christmas vacation, it's Winter Break. Isn't it amazing how this winter break ALWAYS occurs over the Christmas holiday?

We've gone so far the other way, bent over backwards to not offend anyone,
that I am now being offended. But it seems that no one has a problem with that.
This says it all!

This is an editorial written by an American citizen, published in a Tampa newspaper. He did quite a job; didn't he? Read on, please!

IMMIGRANTS, NOT AMERICANS, MUST ADAPT.

I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some
individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11,we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Americans.

However...... the dust from the attacks had barely settled when the "politically correct! " crowd began complaining about the possibility that our patriotism was offending others.

I am not against immigration, nor do I hold a grudge against anyone who is
seeking a better life by coming to America. Our population is almost entirely made up of descendants of immigrants.

However, there are a few things that those who have recently come to our country, and apparently some born here, need to understand.

This idea of America being a multicultural community has served only to dilute our sovereignty and our national identity. As Americans.......we have our own culture, our own society, our own language and our own lifestyle. This culture has been developed over centuries of struggles, trials, and victories by millions of
men and women who have sought freedom.

We speak ENGLISH, not Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese,
Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society, LEARN THE LANGUAGE!

"In God We Trust" is our national motto. This is not some Christian, right wing, political slogan.. We adopted this motto because Christian men and women...on Christian principles.............founded this nation..... and this is clearly documented.
It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools.

If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home.........because God is part of our culture.

If Stars and Stripes offend you, or you don't like Uncle Sam, then you should seriously consider a move to another part of this planet.

We are happy with our culture and have no desire to change, and we really don't care how you did things where you came from.

This is OUR COUNTRY, our land, and our lifestyle.

Our First Amendment gives every citizen the right to express his opinion and we
will allow you every opportunity to do so!

But once you are done complaining.... whining.... and griping.....about our flag....our pledge.... our national motto......or our way of life....I highly encourage you to take advantage of one other Great American Freedom.......

THE RIGHT TO LEAVE.

IT IS TIME FOR AMERICA TO SPEAK UP!

Right on, Andy Rooney!

Andy Rooney said on "60 Minutes" a few weeks back:

I don't think being a minority makes you a victim of anything except numbers. The only things I can think of that are truly discriminatory are things like the United Negro College Fund, Jet Magazine, Black Entertainment Television, and Miss Black America. Try to have things like the United Caucasian College Fund, Cloud Magazine, White Entertainment Television, or Miss White America; and see what happens...Jesse Jackson will be knocking down your door.

Guns do not make you a killer. I think killing makes you a killer. You can kill someone with a baseball bat or a car, but no one is trying to ban you from driving to the ball game.

I believe they are called the Boy Scouts for a reason, that is why there are no girls allowed. Girls belong in the Girl Scouts! ARE YOU LISTENING MARTHA BURKE?

I think that if you feel homosexuality is wrong, it is not a phobia, it is an opinion.

I have the right "NOT" to be tolerant of others because they are different, weird, or tick me off.

When 70% of the people who get arrested are black , in cities where 70% of the population is black, that is not racial profiling, it is the Law of Probability.

I believe that if you are selling me a milkshake, a pack of cigarettes, a newspaper or a hotel room, you must do it in English! As a matter of fact, if you want to be an American citizen, you should have to speak English!

My father and grandfather didn't die in vain so you can leave the countries you were born in to come over and disrespect ours.

I think the police should have every right to shoot your sorry ass if you threaten them after they tell you to stop. If you can 't understand the word "freeze" or "stop" in English, see the above lines.

I don't think just because you were not born in this country, you are qualified for any special loan programs, government sponsored bank loans or tax breaks, etc., so you can open a hotel, coffee shop, trinket store, or any other business.

We did not go to the aid of certain foreign countries and risk our lives in wars to defend their freedoms, so that decades later they could come over here and tell us our constitution is a living document; and open to their interpretations.

I don't hate the rich. I don't pity the poor.

I know pro wrestling is fake, but so are movies and television. That doesn't stop you from watching them.

I think Bill Gates has every right to keep every penny he made and continue to make more. If it ticks you off, go and invent the next operating system that's better, and put your name on the building.

It doesn't take a whole village to raise a child right, but it does take a parent to stand up to the kid; and smack their little behinds when necessary, and say "NO!"

I think tattoos and piercing are fine if you want them, but please don't pretend they are a political statement. And, please, stay home until that new lip ring heals. I don't want to look at your ugly infected mouth as you serve me French fries!

I am sick of "Political Correctness." I know a lot of black people, and not a single one of them was born in Africa; so how can they be "African-Americans"? Besides, Africa is a continent. I don't go around saying I am a European-American because my great, great, great, great, great, great grandfather was from Europe. I am proud to be from America and nowhere else.

And if you don't like my point of view, tough...

Ben Stein's Last Column...

For many years Ben Stein has written a biweekly column called "Monday Night At Morton's." (Morton's is a famous chain of Steakhouses known to be frequented by movie stars and famous people from around the globe.) Now, Ben is terminating the column to move on to other things in his life. Reading his final column is worth a few minutes of your time.

Ben Stein's Last Column...
===========================================
How Can Someone Who Lives in Insane Luxury Be a Star in Today's World?

As I begin to write this, I "slug" it, as we writers say, which means I put a heading on top of the document to identify it. This heading is "eonlineFINAL," and it gives me a shiver to write it. I have been doing this column for so long that I cannot even recall when I started. I loved writing this column so much for so long I came to believe it would never end.

It worked well for a long time, but gradually, my changing as a person and the world's change have overtaken it. On a small scale, Morton's, while better than ever, no longer attracts as many stars as it used to. It still brings in the rich people in droves and definitely some stars. I saw Samuel L. Jackson there a few days ago, and we had a nice visit, and right before that, I saw and had a splendid talk with Warren Beatty in an elevator, in which we agreed that Splendor in the Grass was a super movie. But Morton's is not the star galaxy it once was, though it probably will be again.

Beyond that, a bigger change has happened. I no longer think Hollywood stars are terribly important. They are uniformly pleasant, friendly people, and they treat me better than I deserve to be treated. But a man or woman who makes a huge wage for memorizing lines a nd reciting them in front of a camera is no longer my idea of a shining star we should all look up to.

How can a man or woman who makes an eight-figure wage and lives in insane luxury really be a star in today's world, if by a "star" we mean someone bright and powerful and attractive as a role model? Real stars are not riding around in the backs of limousines or in Porsches or getting trained in yoga or Pilates and eating only raw fruit while they have Vietnamese girls do their nails.

They can be interesting, nice people, but they are not heroes to me any longer. A real star is the soldier of the 4th Infantry Division who poked his head into a hole on a farm near Tikrit, Iraq. He could have been met by a bomb or a hail of AK-47 bullets. Instead, he faced an abject Saddam Hussein and the gratitude of all of the decent people of the world.

A real star is the U.S. soldier who was sent to disarm a bomb next to a road north of Baghdad. He approached it, and the bomb went off and killed him.

A real star, the kind who haunts my memory night and day, is the U.S. soldier in Baghdad who saw a little girl playing with a piece of unexploded ordnance on a street near where he was guarding a station. He pushed her aside and threw himself on it just as it exploded. He left a family desolate in California and a little girl alive in Baghdad.

The stars who deserve media attention are not the ones who have lavish weddings on TV but the ones who patrol the streets of Mosul even after two of their buddies were murdered and their bodies battered and stripped for the sin of trying to protect Iraqis from terrorists.

We put couples with incomes of $100 million a year on the covers of our magazines. The noncoms and officers who barely scrape by on military pay but stand on guard in Afghanistan and Iraq and on ships and in submarines and near the Arctic Circle are anonymous as they live and die.

I am no longer comfortable being a part of the system that has such poor values, and I do not want to perpetuate those values by pretending that who is eating at Morton's is a big subject.

There are plenty of other stars in the American firmament...the policemen and women who go off on patrol in South Central and have no idea if they will return alive; the orderlies and paramedics who bring in people who have been in terrible accidents and prepare them for surgery; the teachers and nurses who throw their whole spirits into caring for autistic children; the kind men and women who work in hospices and in cancer wards.

Think of each and every fireman who was running up the stairs at the World Trade Center as the towers began to collapse. Now you have my idea of a real hero.

I came to realize that life lived to help others is the only one that matters. This is my highest and best use as a human. I can put it another way. Years ago, I realized I could never be as great an actor as Olivier or as good a comic as Steve Martin...or Martin Mull or Fred Willard--or as good an economist as Samuelson or Friedman or as good a writer as Fitzgerald. Or even remotely close to any of them.

But I could be a devoted father to my son, husband to my wife and, above all, a good son to the parents who had done so much for me. This came to be my main task in life. I did it moderately well with my son, pretty well with my wife and well indeed with my parents (with my sister's help). I cared for and paid attention to them in their declining years. I stayed with my father as he got sick, went into extremis and then into a coma and then entered immortality with my sister and me reading him the Psalms.

This was the only point at which my life touched the lives of the soldiers in Iraq or the firefighters in New York. I came to realize that life lived to help others is the only one that matters and that it is my duty, in return for the lavish life God has devolved upon me, to help others He has placed in my path. This is my highest and best use as a human.

Faith is not believing that God can. It is knowing that God will.

Thought you might enjoy this interesting prayer given in Kansas at the opening session of their Senate. It seems prayer still upsets some people.

When Minister Joe Wright was asked to open the new session of the Kansas Senate, everyone was expecting the usual generalities, but this is what they heard:

"Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask your forgiveness and to seek your direction and guidance. We know Your Word says, 'Woe to those who call evil good,' but that is exactly what we have done.

We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed our values.

We confess that we have ridiculed the absolute truth of Your Word and call it Pluralism.

We have exploited the poor and called it the lottery.

We have rewarded laziness and called it welfare.

We have killed our unborn and called it choice.

We have shot abortionists and called it justifiable.

We have neglected to discipline our children and called it building self esteem.

We have abused power and called it politics.

We have coveted our neighbor's possessions and called it ambition.

We have polluted the air with profanity and pornography and called it freedom of __expression.

We have ridiculed the time-honored values of our forefathers and called it enlightenment.

Search us, Oh, God, and know our hearts today; cleanse us from every sin and set us free.

Amen!"

The response was immediate. A number of legislators walked out during the prayer in protest..

In 6 short weeks, Central Christian Church, where Rev. Wright is pastor, logged more than 5,000 phone calls with only 47 of those calls responding negatively.

The church is now receiving international requests for copies of this prayer from India, Africa and Korea.

Commentator Paul Harvey aired this prayer on his radio program, "The Rest of the Story," and received a larger response to this program than any other he has ever aired.

With the Lord's help, may this prayer sweep over our nation and holeheartedly become our desire so that we again can be called "One Nation Under God."

Paul Harvey says......

I don't believe in Santa Claus, but I'm not going to sue somebody for singing a Ho-Ho-Ho song in December. I don't agree with Darwin, but I didn't go out and hire a lawyer when my high school teacher taught his theory of evolution.

Life, liberty or your pursuit of happiness will not be endangered because someone says a 30-second prayer before a football game.

So what's the big deal? It's not like somebody is up there reading the entire book of Acts. They're just talking to a God they believe in and asking him to grant safety to the players on the field and the fans going home from the game.

"But it's a Christian prayer," some will argue. Yes, and this is the United States of America, a country founded on Christian principles.

According to our very own phone book, Christian churches out number all
others better than 200-to-1. So what would you expect-somebody chanting
Hare Krishna? If I went to a football game in Jerusalem, I would expect to hear a Jewish prayer.

If I went to a soccer game in Baghdad, I would expect to hear a Muslim prayer. If I went to a ping pong match in China, I would expect to hear someone pray to Buddha. And I wouldn't be offended. It wouldn't bother me one bit. When in Rome...

"But what about the atheists?" is another argument. What about them? Nobody is asking them to be baptized.. We're not going to pass the collection plate. Just humor us for 30 seconds.. If that's asking too much, bring a Walkman or a pair of ear plugs. Go to the bathroom. Visit the concession stand. Call your lawyer!

Unfortunately, one or two will
make that call. One or two will tell thousands what they can and cannot do. I don't think a short prayer at a football game is going to shake the world's foundations.

Christians are just sick and tired of turning the other cheek while our courts strip us of all our rights. Our parents and grandparents taught us to pray before eating, to pray before we go to sleep.

Our Bible tells us to pray without ceasing. Now a handful of people and their lawyers are telling us to cease praying. God, help us. And if that last sentence offends you, well..........just sue me.

The silent majority has been silent too long.. it's time we let that one or two who scream loud enough to be heard, that the vast majority don't care what they want.. it is time the majority rules! It's time we tell them, you don't have to pray.. you don't have to say the pledge of allegiance, you don't have to believe in God or attend services that honor Him. That is your right, and we will honor your right... but don't try to take our right away from us.....

God bless us one and all, especially those who denounce Him... God bless America, despite all her faults, she is still the greatest nation of all.

God bless our service men who are fighting to protect our right to pray and worship God. . . . May 2005 be the year the silent majority is heard and we put God back as the foundation of our families and institutions.

Keep looking up...... In God WE Trust.

Pieces of History
find a home American Police Hall of Fame in Titusville
Museum to display WTC wreckage

Paige Horr felt goosebumps rising on her arms again Tuesday as she pulled the cover off a display of wreckage from the fallen World Trade Center towers. "It really makes you honor the people out there who are working to protect and save your life," said Horr, business development director for Interior Space Concepts in Titusville. Soon, thousands of Brevard County residents will have a chance to see crumpled pieces of one of the hijacked airplanes and the ragged chunks of concrete and twisted metal that collapsed Sept. 11, 2001. The exhibit is among dozens of others that will honor the work of law enforcement officers throughout the nation at the American Police Hall of Fame when the nonprofit museum opens by May 15, which is recognized as National Peace Officers Memorial Day, museum executive director Donna Shepherd said. Movers will be busy this week bringing replicas of dungeons, guillotines, gas chambers and other exhibits into the almost $6 million facility, which is located on five acres west of the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame. Two nonprofit groups that run the 50,000-square-foot museum and provide many services to police and their families nationwide chose to set up on the Space Coast after outgrowing the base they shared for 12 years in Miami, Shepherd said. The facility will house the offices of the American Federation of Police and the National Association of Chiefs of Police. "There's definitely going to be something for everyone here," Shepherd said, while strolling past a mock wooden electric chair that is complete with leather straps and a "high voltage" sign. The centerpiece of the museum will be a memorial wall made of Italian marble containing the engraved names of nearly 7,000 police officers from throughout the nation who were killed in the line of duty, including the 72 officers who died in the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, Shepherd said. The Sept. 11 tribute will include a display of the Manhattan skyline, with two glass statues representing the twin towers. An interdenominational chapel will be located nearby, said Abby Brown, interior design director of Interior Space Concepts, which is assisting in designing the facility. The museum also will offer interactive exhibits such as a crime scene in which visitors will use clues to solve a murder and a crime lab that demonstrates forensic techniques, Brown said. Shepherd said about 300 to 400 people are expected to visit the museum each day, with about 40 employees staffing the facility. An on-site 24-lane public gun range will open by December, she said. General admission to the museu will be $12 for adults and $6 for children ages 4 to 12 years, with free admission for children 3 and younger and law enforcement officers.

World Trade center steel poured into mold for Navy ship

AMITE -- A relic of one of this nation's greatest tragedies -- 24 tons of steel from the World Trade Center -- was transformed Tuesday into a symbol of this country's military might when the steel was superheated and poured into a casting mold to create parts for the U.S. Navy's amphibious transport dock ship New York. The transformation took place in the small town of Amite, population 2,000, which houses Amite Foundry &Machine Inc., one of the largest steel foundries in the South. The foundry, owned by Atchison Corp. of Atchison, Kan., has 134 employees.

"Thanks to the skill and hard work of the Amite Foundry and Machine (workers), a piece of our city will travel the world in democracy and freedom," former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani wrote in a letter read at the ceremony.

About 10 percent of the steel was lost when the foundry workers superheated the 48,780 pounds of World Trade Center steel to 2,850 degrees Fahrenheit. That left about 21,000 pounds that they poured in about 72 seconds Tuesday into a casting mold to form the bow stem of the ship. The mold took 112 hours to assemble and will be ready to be sent to the shipyard in 60 to 90 days.

That steel, when the ship is completed in four years, will be on the foremost section of the hull that slices through the water. The other 21,000 pounds are being stored and will be made into anchor handling castings, officials said.

Joining the various dignitaries at Tuesday's event was Richard Torrens, petty officer second class in the U.S. Navy Reserve. Torrens, who lives in the Bronx, one of the boroughs of New York City, lost a niece when the Twin Towers collapsed in the Sept. 11 terror attacks. She died on the cusp of her 28th birthday. Torrens, who works full-time as a New York City sanitation worker, spent time at Ground Zero searching for her remains. The only part of her body recovered, her leg, was discovered eight months after the attacks, he said.

"This means a lot to New York," Torrens said before Tuesday's ceremonies got under way. "To some, it's a closure." Torrens said the transformation of the steel into a warship is an excellent symbol "to let the terrorists know we're not giving up without a fight."

"Junior" Chavers, the foundry's operations manager, has worked at the Amite site for 38 years, but has never had a job quite like this. "When the material arrived here, it was an experience I can't describe," he said.

"When I laid my hand on it, the hair on my neck stood up." Chavers was one of the three foundry workers who suited up in silver fire-and heat-resistant suits to guide the huge bucket carrying the molten steel onto the mold. A few other workers manned the enormous gantry crane, draped with an American flag, that carried the bucket from the fire pit to the casting mold.

Dotty England, wife of former Navy Defense Secretary Gordon England, who is now deputy secretary of Homeland Security, was given the honor of pulling the lever to pour the molten steel. "For all who will serve on the USS New York and for all who suffered from the attacks of 9-11, let us never forget," she said.

The audience cheered as Chavers and his crew, enveloped by sparks and smoke, guided the white-hot steel into the casting mold. "Never forget" will be the motto of the USS New York, a 684-foot-long vessel to be built at the Northrop Grumman Avondale shipyard in New Orleans.

The vessel will be able to launch and recover any helicopter in the Marine Corps inventory as well as the MV-22 Osprey, a vertical take-off and landing aircraft. It will carry 361 crew and 699 troops and be used in a variety of expeditionary and special operations, including amphibious and air warfare, command and control, humanitarian relief and noncombatant evacuation operations.

"Whenever this ship sails, the spirit and memory (of those lost on Sept.11) will go with it," said Hansford T. Johnson, acting secretary of the Navy.

"In our nation's adversity, the inner strength of our people has been reborn," said Vice Adm. Philip Balisle, commander of Naval Sea Systems Command.

World Trade Center Steel is Shaped into PCU New York
Story Number: NNS030912-06
Release Date: 9/12/2003 11:20:00 AM
(PCU indicates Pre-commissioning Unit. Ship is designated that before being
commissioned as a U.S. Navy ship of the fleet)

From Commander Naval Reserve Force Public Affairs AMITE, La. (NNS) -- Hot, molten steel splattered in a colorful display of natural fireworks, as the bow stem was recently formed for PCU New York (LPD 21) at a Louisiana foundry.

Twenty tons of steel salvaged from the remains of the World Trade Center in the aftermath of terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, was melted and poured into a mold to form the first component for the amphibious transport dock named in honor of the Empire State.

“A piece of our city will travel the world in democracy and freedom,” former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani wrote in a letter read at the ceremony.

Dotty England, wife of former Secretary of the Navy Gordon England, was given the honor of pulling the lever to pour the molten steel. She is the ship’s sponsor.

“For all who will serve on USS New York, and for all who suffered from the attacks of 9-11, let us never forget,” she said as the steel was poured into the mold.

Among those attending the ceremony were several Sailors from New York City. Yeoman 2nd Class Richard Torrens lives in the Bronx and lost a niece when the Twin Towers collapsed.

“This means a lot to New York,” Torrens said. “To some, it is closure. This is an excellent symbol to let the terrorists know we’re not giving up.”

When New York is commissioned in four years, it will be the fifth ship of the new San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ships. The ships will replace the older LPD-4 class with increased vehicle and substantial cargo carrying capacity. It will be a key element of 21st Century Amphibious Ready Groups, Expeditionary Strike Groups or Joint Task Forces.

The ships integrate the latest shipbuilding and war-fighting technologies to support current and future Marine Corps aircraft, the Advanced Amphibious Assault Vehicles (AAAVs) and air cushion or conventional landing craft.

The design incorporates state-of-the-art self-defense capabilities; Command and Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I); and reduced radar cross-section signature technologies. Reduced operational costs and an improved capability to incorporate technological advances over its 40-year service life, are also essential design objectives.

An additional 21,000 pounds of steel salvaged from the World Trade Center is being stored and will be made into anchor-handling castings.

New York Police Officers and Port Authority Police Officers Gave new Meaning to Sacrifice and Commitment

The selfless efforts by New York Police Department officers and Port Authority Police Department officers to help victims to safety following the terrorist attack in New York City has elevated the stature and significance of all law enforcement officers in America.

Policing is a tough job in every major American city and no one knows that better than you. The actions of the police officers at the World Trade Center scene demonstrated to the world via live television coverage what real commitment, sacrifice-to-duty, and helping the public is all about.

Unfortunately, the loss of life as a result of the terrorist attack has been enormous. In particular, the number of police officers and firefighters who died in the performance of their duty following the attack eclipses anything that any person in law enforcement could ever imagine. Accordingly, we know that the families of the police officers who made the ultimate sacrifice will need the aid and comfort of all of us who remain on the job to help them make it through this terrible time.

Everyone here at the Houston Police Officers' Union is committed to being there to help our brothers and sisters in New York through this terrible time. Your valor and sacrifice will continue to serve as a shining example to all of us who believe there is no greater public service calling than that of a police officer.

In solidarity,

The Houston Police Officers' Union

"In God We Trust"

We called on God on 9-11 so what's wrong with him now?
For those who have
not heard, the bottlers/manufacturers of Dr. Pepper and their other products, have started a "new" can campaign. They are putting patriotic scenes on them. One, is the Empire State Bldg. with the Pledge of Allegiance...but... they left off the words..."under God." They felt it might "offend" some.

I don't know about you, but as a Christian, I am boycotting their products! They said they didn't "have room" for those words, but yet they had room for "indivisible" on the can! Please pass this along to others and see if we can get a message out to DR. Pepper ....if having "under God" on cans offends them, then they don't need our money with
"in God we trust" on it!!

I'd like to pass this on to all our Signal 8-2 Club brother and also thank our Active brother Greg McGrail (Active - BT) for thinking of us in his pursuit in a cause that should be foremost to all of us in the police profession, as well as good Americans...

At the recent National Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) conference in Alabama, the delegation in attendance voted unanimously to begin a boycott of persons, products and companies associated with the supporting of convicted cop killer Mumia Abu-Jamal.In case you don't know, this animal was convicted in the 1981 killing of Philadelphia Police Officer Daniel Faulkner. The act was an especially brutal and sadistic murder that still haunts the family, friends and coworkers of Officer Faulkner. The New York Shields presented Officer Faulkner's family with a Medal of Valor at their 1999 Police Memorial Breakfast.Convict Abu-Jamal has written a book, "Live from Death Row," and attempted to place himself in a celebrity status as a result of his criminal behavior.Others have supported his pathetic attempt to gain stardom and freedom, all the while spitting in the face of Officer Faulkner, his family and every single law enforcement officer in the United States.

The F. O. P. has announced the formal boycotting of the following:

1. Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream Products who are donators to a defense fund for the killer.

2. Actor Paul Newman, an outspoken supporter of the killer.

3. Actress Susan Sarandon, another supporter of the killer.

4. Filmmakers Spike Lee, Oliver Stone and John Landis, supporters of the killer.

5. Writers Norman Mailer and Joyce Carol Oates, supporters of the killer.

6. Supermodel Naomi Campbell, supporter of the killer.

7. Musicians Sting, David Byrne and Michael Stipe of REM, supporters of the killer.

8. The Backstreet Boys who are performing "free" benefit concerts for the killers defense fund. One of their "benefit concerts" schedule for Baltimore, MD had to be cancelled when Baltimore police officers refused to work the overtime shifts for security at the concert.

As you also may not know, a tape recorded statement made by the killer was played at the graduation commencement ceremony of Evergreen State College in the state of Washington in June 1999. This resulted in over 800 graduates walking out and another two dozen turning their during the killers 3 minute diatribe of hate.

The F.O.P.'s position is getting widespread coverage in the media, as well it should. The members of the New York Shields stand with our fellow brothers across this country in strongly supporting this boycott and honoring the memory of Philadelphia Police Officer Daniel Faulkner.

We urge you to participate in this boycott and request that you pass this e-mail on to your coworkers, partners, family and friends. We must stand together against this brutal murderer. Please do your part and pass this important message along to your friends.

Call your local grocer and tell them about Ben & Jerry's support of a cop killer.

Do your part please, you can make a difference.
